The following experiments were done as a test: The Terminal Service License service was run on a server running Windows 2000 server with 2020 installed. On customers who already have a temporary license, the registration branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMSLicensing has been removed. On gebrandet-Thin clients that were already connected to the server, Flash was reset (replaced). No interventions were carried out in stations that were not previously connected. A client program has been launched at all client stations and a connection to the server has been established. Then, the date on the server was returned to the current date. Connections went smoothly and after a date change on servers and workstations until 2019. Maybe in the near future, Microsoft will fix this problem….
